Devon Tinney, LAPC, MT-BC/L, NCC

Devon earned her bachelor’s degree in music therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2019. Upon completion of her internship at an adult psychiatric inpatient facility, she desired to further support clients’ mental wellbeing by pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University in 2023. She completed her counseling internship through Youthworks ND, specializing in working with at risk, homeless, runaway, and trafficked youth throughout the state.
She is currently a LAPC, Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and holds MT-BC licensure in the state of North Dakota. With over 8 years working in community mental health, school based mental health, and inpatient mental health settings, she strives to provide clients with a space where their brokenness is welcome. She is passionate about neuropsychology and how creativity can be brought into the therapy session. As a military spouse, she has a desire to provide quality counseling services to current activity duty member and their families or veterans within the community.
When she isn’t nose deep into learning new counseling techniques, Devon has a tendency to get hyper fixated on creating the perfect loaf of gluten free sourdough, exploring the great state of North Dakota, or appearing as a guest on the podcast “Am I A Bad Therapist”.
