Jamie Newberger,

Jamie is currently a Licensed Professional Associate Counselor in North Dakota, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Minnesota. She is working towards her Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor License for both states.
Jamie is an LGTBQIA + affirming clinician, and is passionate about creating a safe space for her clients who are addressing identity, and gender concerns. Jamie works with individuals ages 13+, and strives to provide collaborative counseling that feels safe, and connected. She has a particular interest in working with trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, shame, and shame resilience as well as other life stressors. Jamie has specialized training in various trauma modalities, and utilizes a strengths-based approach to empower her clients to make meaningful changes. She uses various approaches to best meet the needs of each client, including Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Jamie is passionate about helping her clients challenge their own shame to find their voice and self-compassion.

A message from Jaimie:
We all struggle at times. Sometimes life experiences can become overwhelming, cause you to feel out of control, or bring you down. I am passionate about working with individuals who are healing from painful situations in life, and who feel stuck in old patterns that just aren’t working anymore. Whether you are having difficulty communicating your needs or emotions, facing hard choices, or lacking direction, change is possible. You don’t have to continue feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and you don’t have to do it alone.
