Counseling Approach and Clinical Focus:
Rose strives to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout their healing journey. She recognizes that meaningful therapy looks different for every person and believes treatment should reflect each client’s individual strengths, experiences, culture, family system, and needs. Rose incorporates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). She also brings experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, assessment and evaluation, behavioral health, and understanding complex family dynamics. Her professional background has given her extensive experience working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary systems.
Through therapy, Rose helps clients develop healthy coping and emotional regulation skills, process difficult and traumatic experiences, strengthen self-esteem, navigate relationships and family dynamics, and build greater resilience in their everyday lives. Her background in child welfare and child protection also gives Rose a valuable understanding of children and families navigating complex systems, safety concerns, family transitions, and significant life stressors. Her previous work has included safety planning, court preparation, family collaboration, and coordination with schools, healthcare providers, legal professionals, and community agencies.
A message from Rose:
I believe every child, teen, and adult deserves a space where they can feel safe, heard, and accepted for who they are. I strive to meet my clients where they are, recognize the strengths they already possess, and walk alongside them as they develop the tools and confidence to navigate life’s challenges. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where clients feel empowered to better understand themselves, heal from difficult experiences, and build meaningful change in their lives.
